Rat HQ: I like it Dekard :) Doc is adding the new brigades to beta for testing. w00t!
Rat HQ: Dekard thinks everyone will like the new green garage replacement model. Daddy like.
Rat HQ: Doc just swapped out the M79 (solid) AP round and put the M62 (APHE) in the M5 76mm ATG for beta testing. It will be a trade off as always!
Rat HQ: Beta Server Open for testing until 4 PM! Thanks for your help!
Rat HQ: Thank you for helping us test today! Open testing will resume Monday 12 Noon Texas time. Next week will also have air combat focus tests.

1.31 Open Beta Test Plan - Week 4

Good news! Gophur says that the avalanche of new tickets from the first 2 weeks of Beta is now a slow trickle. The team is working hard to plow through the list so we can get 1.31 out the door.  Our third week of Beta focus testing gave us a good idea as to how campaign play will work with 1.31. We had a snafu setting up command permissions, so the general player base was not able to use the command functions, only staff. The commands worked, we just need to beat the subscription code into compliance. Now it's on to week 4 and some good old fashioned bombing!

1.31 Open Beta Test Plan - Week 3

UPDATE: PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE V1.31.0.29 INSTALLER FOR THE FOCUS TEST! Our second week of Beta focus testing started out a bit rough, but we ended up having a great combined arms battle last night. It was broken into 2 sessions, the first centering around Tienen, which was designated a no-mans land that was under contention. The second half was a pitched battle in Roermond, dozens of tanks scrapping it out while the Allied infantry tried to cap the Axis bunker. It was great fun, the server was stable and fewer bugs were found than in previous tests. PLEASE BE SURE TO COMPLETE THE INFANTRY SURVEY! WE NEED YOUR INPUT.

AO Rule Changes With Tuesday Server Maintenance

We had a production meeting today where we set ourselves the task of identifying game play issues pertaining to times when the game population is unbalanced. This meant identifying the critical point when a population dip needs to be locked down to 1 AO per side. Currently you always have a minimum of 2. We think this needs to change.

How many of you have seen the phrases “Follow the ant trail” or “Don’t follow the ant trail”?  I know I have but it’s often forgotten in your rush to get to forward base, flag building or tank.  
I often see /reports about “he has an invisible bush bug” or “he must be spying because he found our MS”.  Well, consider how you and others are approaching a target as a reason you and your buddies are dying and being discovered so quickly.

POINTS FOR TRUCKERS?

"I have been playing this game for about a week, and I LOVE driving the HT...But, being a noob this is a bad way to rank up as I have found out. I don't get points for towing, I don't get points for resupplying, and as I am in a Halftrack and cannot MSP, I don't get points for spawning infantry.  Could it be possible to give points for giving ammo and towing guns? Even if it is just one point per resupply or per tow?"
