UPDATE:

Supply issue has been pin-pointed. Testing a fix this morning. Will keep you updated throughout the day.

First and foremost, the whole team here would like to thank you all for your patience with the extended shakedown intermission. Many issues have been identified and corrected in the two post 1.34 point releases. There still some client and host issues outstanding, most of them non-critical.

There is one pretty substantial issue that we're currently struggling with, and that is supply. What we have identified is that the portion of the host that keeps track of where you are when you despawn in the game world has broken. When you despawn a vehicle anywhere in the arena, the host is responsible for recording where you were and determines what to do with your vehicle. Somewhere in the process, it is losing that information. This is why you'll see "N/A" in your AAR and why you are no longer able to "warp" to a depot. In essence, once you have despawned, the host just loses your data and so isn't able to manage supply.

GOPHUR: "When a player despawns there is a list of things that happen in a very specific order. These allow for various things as assigning the killer of the vehicle or allowing the player to keep his vehicle reserved for a despawn. Supply is also a major component of this despawn process. Currently the ordering is allowing the vehicle to despawn into a limbo state where it has been noted as despawning so the resupply ticket for that vehicle is updated (canceled on RTB) but the vehicle no longer has access to it's despawn location (see AAR) so it has no idea where to go. Technically we refer to this as "bad" or "&*$%ing fix that already!" depending on current testing feedback."

This didn't appear in beta, only coming to light after 1.34 hit the live server. We had to keep the intermission going as is over the weekend while we tried to identify the problem and figure out a way to remedy it.

Without the supply system, we are not yet able to move into the BeachHead Breakout. We will be reconfiguring the server with new and different scenarios while we work to fix the problem. We understand your frustration and we unreservedly apologize. We are working tirelessly to resolve this so that we can throw open the doors for the BeachHead Breakout event to the thousands of players eagerly waiting. DOC has loaded up the live server with a BASTOGNE scenario, complete with Americans! Enjoy and keep checking back for updates on the teams progress.

Can't believe you still have to manually load new state to the server (instead of using a script). I'm sure DOC is going to need some serious MMassage tonight...

So what about the returning Soldiers, are we being left out in the cold?

Once we launch the BeachHead Breakout, the returning players will be able to access the server. We really, really want things to be near as perfect as possible before you guys step onto the battlefield again. We're almost there.

I agree it is frustrating for us players that were hoping to use the long weekend for play, but it was fun using the new weapons and seeing some large numbers in play. Anything we can do to help the Rats get the bugs worked out and the system live...

Keep in mind that a bunch of other games have recently been released. If you take your time fixing bugs players might be bored with the short-lived action games of today and more willing to check 1.34 out :)

pretty stoked. I'm hoping you leave us returning players out in the cold until at least thursday. I think you'll get a massive turnout if you open the floodgates on the weekend.

Don't sweat the small stuff!

Just because we've been waiting for ten years for the American side to enter the fray doesn't mean we can't wait till Christmas for you to get the game playable again!
