DOCWell that was a stunning turn around. After one of the longest campaigns ever fought (2nd longest on record) the Allies came out of the blocks at a thousand miles an hour and blitzed their way into Germany like a Saturn V rocket mounted on a flat top rail car. While not the shortest campaign ever, it is the second shortest since the "campaign era" of the game began and shows how dynamic and unpredictable the game can be. Congratulations to the Allied forces !

We are going to pass over the need for an intermission this time around, and reset the servers at 1:00pm today (that would be around 8:00pm GMT) Friday the 3rd of October. With only 8 days of scoring in the database, we can probably merge the stats quickly today (this usually takes over a day to do so is done during intermission) and we can get a new campaign underway as soon as the reset reconfiguration of the databases and servers is complete. With just over a week since the last intermission and the weekend looming upon us (and prime time Friday night still to come) we think going straight into the new campaign would probably be the best for most players. The downside is that some will be caught off guard or unprepared for the faster than normal turn around but ... well we can't have everything can we!

We have scheduled the servers to go offline at 11:30am CST (6:30pm GMT) and expect a quick reset task schedule bringing the servers back online around 1:00pm, Texas time (GMT 8:00pm) ... they may take a little more than 30 minutes but it isn't anticipated to be likely.

The only changes we have made are that the Daimler Armored Car, which appeared in small numbers (5) in the two British infantry formations, will not appear at the start (tier 0) of the campaign but appear in tier 1 as it normally did in the past. In addition, because we just had 8 days of tier 0 (start campaign) and then an end campaign state ... we are reducing tier 0 by 50% in order to not create a "early tier for more than 2 weeks" experience for you all. This is a one off situation due to the nature of having just come out of 8 days of tier 0 and no intermission.

When the servers are reopened we will be straight into Campaign 47. Good luck everybody in the coming war!

Wow... I think allies read Guderian book about panzers and use their tanks as a rolling machine :-) A campaing to remember after a campaign to remember really :-) This game will always surprise us. S! Allied. Well done!

This is a tribute to the good and long term hard work the rats have applied to this fantastic game. I have been out for 3 years and the game is awesome as usual. I encourage other ex-players and new recruits to jump into action. S! OC240

What happened with the stats? Seems like the database isn't rolling yet -- although it's not locked out like it usually is at start of campaign.

Trier 0 is fun, in that all our allied AP weapons seem to be able to take out all the axis ones. It's so hard later in the game. The last 2 campaigns were both pretty intense.

When is Axis going to have a eral fighter for Tier 0? Axis loss in the last match was partly due to nobody wanting to fly the horrid 110. Give Axis the 109 they should have had and things wont be so bad.
