For the past two years, players from the WWII Online community and CRS staff have chosen to support the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) and the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta (DSAA) by sponsoring a buddy walk held in Atlanta, Georgia. The Buddy Walk was established in 1995 by the National Down Syndrome Society to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October and to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. Participation by WWIIOL players from around the world has resulted in $5,000USD in donations to the charity.
If you would like more information about the event and how to donate towards their goal, please visit their NDSS Buddy Walk page.

Tenpin introduced me to this charity last year. I am very picky about what I donate to. Since Tenpin is one of us..and subject to our ridicule..it also makes him subject to our admiration.
