A question from Thm000 in the Hangar: "What about giving improved Ammo in later tiers to tanks which underperform against the next tier. This would reduce the wasted space in the garage with the armor and guns people don't want to spawn.

Tier 0 Weapons that could use a boost:

PZII
232
Pz38
PZIII 37mm
German 37mm ATG
French 25mm ATG
R35
H39
A13
Vickers

Axis could get PZgr40 for the 20mm and 37mm guns in tier 1
British could get one of the improved 2 pdr ammunitions in tier 1
The Vickers becomes the MKVIC in tier 1 with a 50 cal main machine gun and a besa machine gun upgrading its firepower
The R35 becomes the R40 in tier 1
The H39 and 25mm atg .. I got nothing for that..."

DOC: The PzKw.IIc is already using the best non-tungsten cored ammunition available for it. We do not plan at this time introducing tungsten cored ammunition to the game. This also applies to the PzKw.IIIf and PaK.36/37mmL45 mentioned above. All 3 of the above mentioned units are using the best performing non-tungsten cored ammunition available for them.

There is no upgrade we can employ to the French 25mm SaMle34L72, and given its overall excellent abilities for a small caliber ATG it’s not crucial anyway unless you face heavy armour, where it should be outclassed. Not everything can or should kill everything in the game. The R-35 and H-39 cannot morph into different models later on, this would require we build a different model and add it to the game in addition to those tanks. Both of these tanks currently use the best gun/ammunition they could have and are combat dead-ends for further worthwhile development.

The A-13 is upgraded in tier 1 by the Crusader II, and it does have slightly better performing ammunition already, replacing the 2600 FPS AP round with the 2700 FPS APCBC round.

The Vickers in the game is currently the Mk.VI model equipped with a .50 caliber HMG and a .303 MMG in the coaxial mount.

Not a good idea. As the war progressed, they got better guns. Old ones didn't magically get upgraded. Wasted space.. oh well. This isn't wow.
