Today's question came in via the Mailbag from Madrebel: Could we get some squad community features? things like hosted subforums on the bge forums? For example Tribes 2, had some really nice integrated clan features. these were all accessible from the internal game UI. there was a clan homepage of sorts, forum, and a private message/mail system.

RAFTER: We once hosted squad web pages that were customizable with a set of templates. It became too much of an administrative burden to keep track of site creation, who had rights to moderate them and when to delete them if a squad went dormant so we suspended the service. We have a vision of moving a lot of community and informational tools into the UI and a squad page is on that list.
