A quick clarification for Hick and the Hangar boys: "I was wondering if you could get clarification on a change that was made during 1.31: The 109F1 (which uses MMFF/M) Had a loadout change to an All-Mine belting. There seems to be confusion as to whether or not this change affected on the F1 or all aircraft using that cannon." DOC: No it did not get an all mine loadout. The HE round was removed and replaced with a mine round. All aircraft employing an MGFF/M cannon receive the change since it is globally applied to any weapon using that weapon belt, and vehicles can’t have two different belts at the same time.Prior to this change the MGFF/M was belted with 2 x AP, 1 x HE-T and 2 x MINE. The belting now is 2 x AP-T, and 3 x MINE. All rounds are loaded in cyclic groups of 5. Aircraft using the MGFF/M are: Bf109E-4 Bf109F-1 Bf110C-4 Fw190A-4 (outer wing cannons only) |
