A succinct question from Khsolok in the Barracks: "Should there be a HAAC when you overpop? I understand if you underpop but overpop? c'on?!"

DOC: HAAC is a command line option to allow commanders to change how a side responds to a situation when under attack, if the situation changes sufficiently to make an all or nothing effort seem worthwhile, at the cost of burning all your supply in one go and having nothing in reserve and the situation is read as urgent enough (based on what the enemy control in a town that you still hold, and where the enemy control is greater than your own you might even "fall back" instead) then a “hold at all cost” option is available. This is not tied to population numbers for the simple reason that this code module doesn’t understand what population numbers means, or how to factor it even if it did understand it. Apart from the desire to hold a town in danger of being over-run there really is no compelling reason to figure out how to tie this to population, it won't help solve that problem.

Getting people to enjoy the game so that they login and play isn't going to be improved by even more complex rules about what you can do when based on shifting population numbers.

Like many things, this may change in the future ... if an idea seems like a good one we can work on it when the time comes, but there are no plans to tie this aspect of the game to population, at least not for the time being.

Thanxs for the feedback

Looking forward to bringing this point again since it looks like its overused and it works against the side the holds the less numbers which in all fairness doesnt look very balanced

Yeah, Allies use it everytime a town is contested. Very unfair

Allies are also historically underpop. HAAC alone won't save a town, you still need number's to liberate anything. I for one like the HAAC command, I don't issue it often however, because once it is up, it's up, there's no taking it down manually.
