WHY DID WE MAKE SOME OF THESE CHANGES?

A few people have expressed concerns with some of the changes that have happened over the last few updates. Why was tree climbing removed? Where is the infantry cover? Why can't we enter city buildings? Rafter answered some of these in today's Player Forum Feedback.

RAFTER: Climbing needs to be improved. We have plans to make it better and add features to make climbing ever better.

What we have right now is somewhat a by-product of improving the collider for better "stick to the ground stuff".

We also have plans to improve survivability outside towns. We've already hinted at what's likely to be added.

We want big city buildings enterable again. We had to make a last minute change in order avoid some nasty perfromance issues but we have a plan for adding back in better city fighting around and in those buildings.

I dont know what plans we have for any more LMG changes. We'll evaluate it as with anything.

Wow! Theres more?! Can't wait :-) Im not to fazed by the new fields and terrain - it actually allows people to fight and forces them to be interdependent on each other a lot more....

"Where is the infantry cover?" Really? I think there's more inf cover than ever, without the stupid "bush tunnel" shenanigans. Tall grass, baby, tall grass!

If "improving survivability" means adding more bushes, for the love of god, no. Put those little forests berms in there more if anything. I'm loving the hard cover much more than hiding in 3 mile bush tunnels all the way to town.
