A question from Mcafeed in the Barracks: "Why does it rain in game so much? It seems to me and everyone I chat with in game or talk to on TS that the rain is excessive. It's a great new addition to the game, but please back it off a bit. This is not the Amazon Rain forrest, it's Europe" KFS1: The current weather implementation takes a per-day approach for simplicity's sake. Every game-day, the game decides whether or not it should be overcast on the new day. There is a 1 in 4 chance of an overcast day, and a special rule that says it can't be overcast two game-days in a row. When overcast is selected, there are a fixed number of rain sequences, and it never rains for more than 20-minutes (game time) in a row. In all the time I've played 1.31 since release, I have yet to see it rain. I've seen it overcast, which I guess some might call "rainy", but I haven't yet seen 1.31 rain on the live server. So, if some of you are seeing non-stop rain, then Houston, we have a problem. |

Seriously?
