From The Barracks: "Would it be a bad thing to tweak sappers? So they could no longer kill certain type of high end tanks. My greatest fear as a tank driver is one lone guy just waiting to sneak up and sap me. Make it so they can only damage the high end tanks maybe? They should IMO be a true teamwork class, one that does jobs for others and manage the PPO's etc...

RAFTER RAFTER: We have plans to re-org infantry classes to suit a more pure engineer role and an anti-tank role.

Engineers will probably do more building (PPOs) and demolition (bridges, PPOs) and less tank busting. Anti-tank class infantry would take up the slack with a tiered weapon set.

There a number of dependencies that need to be in place before we move forward with that plan. Only one of which is shoulder-mounted anti-tank weapons.

We can't give you an estimate but there's been a lot of production planning time already given to this.

Sweet, sappers are op'ed to hell and need to retire to doing things that sappers really did. Build bridges, blow bridges, and some tanks...not all tanks. I am glad you guys are looking into shoulder mounted weapons.

Any real chance that the "engineer" class could repair tank tracks? At least one per mission?

Interesting reading. You say a "Tiered" weapon set - as in it will still make tankers cry? ;-) Sorry - bad joke!

Looking forward to how you make this unit more representative of the games namesake - thank you.
