The latest update saw the introduction of a couple of new "Noob-friendly" features: Waypoints and Death Icons. While the way-points are pretty much considered the cat's meow, there is less love for the floating death icons: "Yeah I don't like the skulls either. It might tell you there is an ei in that general area, but who really expects him to be there when ya get back."
RAFTER:The skulls were added primarily as a way for players to have additional feedback that there was action happening around them. Our game is really good at providing ways to hide from each other and often even the rag doll animations aren't seen because you guys are all hiding in bushes :) and there is very little, if any, new information gathered from the death icons about enemy locations. We were anticipating that not all players would like or want to have this kind of feedback in game. We allow rank/name icons to be turned off and we allow the new death icons to be turned off. For now, we've decreased the size of the death icon (next release) and as a reminder, if you don't like them or icons of any kind, use your Settings to turn them off. |

These icons give the enemy the benefits are totally unrealistic.
Add an animation sequence to corpses which makes them moan in pain and have their feet and hands move erratically for 2 mins after the player is shot. Better than a tard skull icon.
