Happy New Year Soldiers! 2013 is upon us and we've got some goals to push toward to kick this year off right. Please take a look inside for some important information about Playnet, Inc.

We hope you all had a very happy holiday(s), and we'd like to welcome back all the returning soldiers. It's important now for us to get on the same ship, and set sail towards a specific mission and understanding as a community of enthusiasts to ensure optimal opportunity for necessary rebuilding of our staffing, which will ultimately lead to further product development.

Game Development

Our ability to update the game is dependent on our ability to fulfill the top priority (the subscription drive). At the end of the day, we need to remember that running these servers, and paying for the staff required to update the game client and server is what delivers, despite all of the enthusiasm we can muster. Subscription (Recruitment) Drive

The subscription drive is at the pinnacle of our priority as a community. We've seen some progress that we've been publishing for you, but we're going to need you guys to help us beef that up. Bringing free play soldiers to basic ($9.99/mo) is a very do-able task. Note: If every player recruited or converted a free player into a paying subscriber, we would be able to do great things.

For the future of World War II Online, this has to be a top priority for every community member, starting now. Some players have been being very aggressive and we salute you, please continue to encourage others to do the same.

CS&R [STATS] Update

"Stats dude, where are they?" GOPHUR & RAMP are working on the Stats page, being the holidays and all it has slowed this process down with vacation. It is a top priority for us to get the Stats page back online ASAP! We appreciate your patience meanwhile.

RAPID ASSAULT

We are still in negotiations to expand on the potential of Rapid Assault with outside parties. It's code and time invested has resulted into a tangible product, with the right tweaking (development) could be a great opportunity. Do note: RA has and will continue to be developed outside of WWII Online funding.

Community Management Change of Guard

I've had a real blast being the Community Manager of WWII Online. It has given me a great deal of appreciation of the game, working with the players organizing events, managing our CRS volunteer team, and overseeing all of the volunteer programs.

The team has placed a higher calling on my end, and I will now be supporting Playnet, Inc. as the "Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)," leading the charge on everything to do with Marketing, Advertising, Business Development and Public Relations. I will be supervising the new Community Manager and assisting him with high level CM matters.

That being said, it's with great pleasure I introduce (and congratulate) your new Community Manager, Terry "OHM" Fazekas.

I want to thank CRS for giving me this opportunity in my new position as Community Manager! It is a great honor to be given this new job to help the game reach new goals and make for a fun and exciting game to play.

I want to thank XOOM for the hard work he has done in the past 3 years. His dedication to game is a fine example of how we all love this game and want to see it continue. His confidence in me is a little over whelming and I only hope to do as good a job as he has done. His new position will only help us as a community to grow and make new friends. And that is what it is all about making new friends! I have met a lot of people from around the world in this game and I am very proud to say all of you are my friends and hope to make new ones with new players coming into the game.

I want to close with letting you know that we are still committed to you the players, and we're conducting a heroic effort behind the scenes, under tough circumstances.

A big thanks for your continued (and very appreciated) support and business. We're going to need to come together as a community to make for a better, stronger 2013.
