It brings us great pleasure to welcome GVONPAUL to the position of "Assistant Forum Lead Moderator." GVONPAUL has been a dedicated long time member and volunteer to our little community.
His open and like-able personality is a great asset to our community on WWII Online. In addition to GVONPAUL's glowing personality, his in-depth knowledge of WWIIOL will continue to guide current and future members to an enjoyable experience both in-game and on the forums.
GVONPAUL: I am glad to have a chance to help out a game that has given me much joy over the years. I've been here since June of 2001, and have made many friends along the way.
I look forward to helping make this a better place for all of us and hope that, with your help, we can push WWIIOL to the next level.
Thank You Old Friends!
I also must announce with sadness, the retirement of three long time volunteers; Arradin, Fredrik1 & Sirbenny. These guys have been exceptional leaders within our community and view them all as people who carried the torch forward for the team. I look forward to seeing all of them on the battlefield; and hopefully not at the end of their rifle barrel. Please thank them for their tireless volunteering efforts to keep our community exceptional.
Finally, GVONPAUL and I have volunteered to fill the big shoes of SIRBENNY as the new TeamSpeak server administrators. We are currently working on the permissions and channel structures to provide the best voice experience to our community. You will continue to see small changes over the next few weeks to both the TeamSpeak server and the TeamSpeak forums. If you have any questions or wish to add your squad to the community teamspeak server; please contact GVONPAUL or I, either in-game, on the forums, or on teamspeak. Please be sure to read over the server rules and regulations before requesting or altering channels.
Thanks for all of your support!
Chase "Thrance" Ellison
P.S. I know the title promised sheep and I have failed to provide them. I will make good on my word; if you creep off-topic over the next week you will get your sheep!
