Hi Everyone!
I hope everyone's week went well.  Some of you work in an office where you have time to look at the current map conditions and are able to follow the forums.  Some of you do not have that kind of time during the day but there are a few tools that can help some find information that may be valuable and are just fun to follow.

First, the new website as some of you already know has a great feature that can help you keep up to date with what is new and interesting with Battleground Europe.  Click to receive the RSS feed or get the updates via email.

Second, there is a link that has a lot of information called Battleground Tools created by Ladyfog and FOGABAN.  Click here to see all the different links including the current state of the map in real time in much more detail.  There are also lots of other pieces of information that you may find very useful.

Third, the Battleground Europe Forums have a lot of information, specific game chatter and help forums that will satisfy any Battleground Europe fan's appetite.

Finally, Battleground Europe Wiki is kept up to date with information that will keep you busy for hours.  Have a question regarding the game? Start there! :)  But be careful, if you are at work, you may end up spending a little too much time!  :)

Thank you all for your dedication to our game.  You are all valued in all of you endeavors and we look forward to seeing you grow in your game "career"!

Have Fun and a great week!

From the desk of the Allied Chief of Staff:
Hello again Team Allies,
Allied morale is at an all time high with the current push to the east.  With the gains we have made this week and in the past couple of weeks the Allied Team is showing their grit as we push the axis back to the east.
Great Job Team Allied lets keep pushing and watch for orders for this weekend and next week.

Allied Player of the Week
The Player of the week is Linnon, this soldier has shown his more than capable abilities in game by defending Forward Bases and when relieved and told to go have some fun he continues to help the Allied Team by driving in and setting up a much needed MSP.
Congratulations Linnon Player of the Week.

Allied Officer of the Week
The Officer of the week is Benigni, for his countless hours of taking on the Map Oic position and doing a great job.  I personally witnessed his commitment to Team Allied as he not only was moving our Armies around the front but was also jumping in to help put out spot Fires started by the Axis.
Congratulations Benigni, Officer of the Week.

All in all it has been an exceptional week for Team Allied our pushes and gains now have us in a very favourable position.  Keep up the Good Work Team Allied.
S!

From the desk of the Axis Commander in Chief:
!S Kameraden
Axis forces continue to engage the Allies in a fighting retreat, many great battles have taken place this week as we consolidate our position to a defendable line. Requests for more troops have been sent back home and we expect new soldiers to arrive within the month, STAND STRONG fellow soldiers, hold the line!
On to the awards!

This weeks Officer of the Week is Roner, always on the field at the spawnable or bunker and first to check EWS Roner is the kind of officer we could all model ourselves on.

This weeks player of the week is xalax, I have seen xalax in every town I've defended this week, usually taking down enemy MS's or helping at the spawnable.

Axis Communications:

From the desk of the Realism Events Director/Intermission Scenerio Development:
On August 9th, we held the AFV Realism Scenario "Metal Horse". For one reason or another, the Scenario did not have alot of interest and the Sign ups were lower than expected. With the amount we had present when the Mission Scenario began, we changed it from a Realism (one life) Scenario into a Supply Simulation (Timed Spawn ability) Scenario.

When the Server was opened, the Allied Team quickly got things moving and got Armor and Infantry to Martelange 1st. The Axis Team focused on Infantry for their 1st wave of troops to Martelange to defend the town. They took  a safe approach and circled the town and came in from the East. Several of the Axis Infantry were able to sneak there way past an Allied M-10 and a Rifleman to get into town for defense.
The Allied Attackers managed to Contest the town and get Infantry into the Enemy Bunker to try and make the Capture. With Allied Armor in a few key Ambush positions they were able to hold off the Axis Armor and make the Battle for Martelange a Riflemans Fights. But being Outnumbered finally got the upper hand and the Axis Armor finally made it's way to town and Secured a Victory for the Axis Team.  It was an Awesome Battle from my Vulture Perch above Martelange.

With the completion of "Metal Horse", it's now time to begin preparing for the next Realism Event Scenario. Operation "Port Authority" (a Battle of Britain bombing mission" has been Scheduled for September 13th. Click here to view the Mission  and Sign Up sheet.

Don't forget Battleground Europe game monitor, it's really nice to have the map set as my background and notifications when something 'epic' happens.
