An excerpt from the desk of the Allied Commander-in-Chief: Campaign 52 is still rolling along. We are currently on day 25 of the campaign. The Allies worked together with great efficiency during Operation OVERRUN. We expanded our lines in the center; we got a foothold across the river in the S and held the line in the north. We have not pushed the line in the north. Overall, we are making progress on the map. The axis is giving us all the defense we can handle, but our officers and players are giving better than they get.
There were some great battles this week. Unfortunately, I couldn’t participate due to four straight days of rain that made my internet connection very unreliable. Oh well.
As most of you know, CRS is now hosting Allied and Axis Team Speak servers. We are also aware of some recent problems with individuals who log in and harass our customers. SIRBENNY is working with the CinC’s to ensure we have enough server administrators (SA) to ensure that these people can be dealt with quickly. So, if you are on Team Speak and start getting harassed, look for someone who has SA rights and let them know so the problem can be resolved quickly. If you have questions about Team Speak please contact our administrator, SIRBENNY, at

JOKER007, JAMMYMAN and I are currently working with the Allied and Axis senior staffs to improve the relationships between the High Commands and the general player base. Cultural changes are never easy and it often times takes a long time before results are noticed but we are committed to making this game more fun for everyone. FROM THE DESK OF THE ALLIED COMMANDER IN CHIEF:
S! Allied Players Campaign 52 is still rolling along. We are currently on day 25 of the campaign. The Allies worked together with great efficiency during Operation OVERRUN. We expanded our lines in the center; we got a foothold across the river in the south and held the line in the north. We have not pushed the line in the north. Overall, we are making progress on the map. The Axis are giving us all the defense we can handle, but our officers and players are giving better than they get. The communications of the Allied side are improving. We had excellent communications during Operation OVERRUN and it showed. The coordination and cooperation of the players in Air and Ground operations helped us put the hurt on the Axis defenders in many towns. It also helped in the Naval/Air Brigade dual in Verdun which is still Allied. We have another operation planned this weekend. Please check your player secure forums for details. Get in game and work with you leaders to make this a success. We plan on having some type of operation every weekend in various areas of the game. We are also in the planning now for mid-week operations. The goal of these are to hopefully expose new and old players to different areas of the game they may not be familiar with or haven’t played in a while and have fun doing so in a large group. The Allied CinC’s Dispatches from the Field! Brig-Gen. Vivanco reported from the rubble of St.Truiden: "Wow! Wow! Did I mention WOW?! Looked at St Tru and saw some light activity so decided to go there - Light Inf EWS, then I think we lost the north CP first and then WAMMO! Heavy Inf and Armour, very quickly we lost all the southern CP's, I scampered to the bunker and bravely hid there for the next 3 - 4 hours. We eventually re-took the north CP. Marks were being made from all angles. I screamed for help on all radio channels (a manly scream...) and the help came. For that whole time in the town there was no let up, at no point did the EWS change and further to my dismay we lost the northern FB, so 3 FB's were now Axis. However, despite the loss of the third FB I could see on the map the Allies were slowly pushing out and believe me it cost them dearly, every step forward was at a heavy price. But out they went and slowly, one by one all the south CP's were capped back, the final CP by a rifleman. Must have been around 3 hours in, it was about then I notice the Northern Axis FB was taking damage, next thing I see is the message its Allied! - Pictboy and his crew! For a moment the EWS went Inf light. Again Heavy Inf and Armour, constant firing, constant explosion and Allied soldiers dying all around but still we held and the Axis were dying in far greater numbers than us. A second FB became Allied and then the third, I knew the Axis were done. They had nearly taken the town at one stage but we had fought them off and held! Axis losing the FB's was the final insult for them and as I had surmised the attack slowly lifted, EWS went light and slowly the firing faded away. Thanks to Oneupu2 who came into the battle giving me support on the ground. A big thank you to the guys who took down the FBs and to the Rifleman who recapped the last CP and a big thank you to all the Allies how came to ST Tru and held that town S!"
Rear-Admiral Pictboy3 sent in this report: "Took map from Desouzaj - Germans were pressuring Hasselt with 1pz and 16ID. Cycled 2DINA and even some of 2ID through Hasselt throughout the day to save it. Meanwhile, Turnhout had been ninja capped earlier in the day, so I refocused P1 to Turnhout to get it back. We bounced the bunker with paras, and then managed to simulcap every AB in Breda, but they were able to move back. We also soft capped Arendonk after Turnhout cap, which was left open to tempt gerry into moving in. They took the bait and moved 2pz Armored into Arendonk, leaving 2Pz stretched, covering Leo, Lommel, and Arendonk, with no units covering Peer. After Breda was pretty much resolved, I ordered P1 Leopoldsburg, P1 Defense Hasselt. Germans were hitting us really hard at Hasselt, so hard they didn't spare any for Leo defense, but we also didn't have many attackers, and it took awhile for Leopoldsburg to escalate. We rolled an armor column in and capped the spawnables. They put a HAAC up, but not soon enough to stop us from getting both spawns and Peer cp. We eventually pushed them out of Lommel cp, having locked the AB earlier, and we proceeded to destroy everything in the AB. We blitzed Lommel with armor once Leopoldsburg fb was up and the Germans fellback, rather than getting camped. We then turned our attention to Arendonk, rushing it 1st guard’s armor. The town got locked down in short order and we proceeded to destroy that flag as well until the Germans ordered another fallback. By this time, their most attrited BDE was the only thing holding Eersel, but we didn't have FBs or enough sappers for a protracted fight, so I switched P1 to Peer, bringing up the now-healthy 110e armored from Paal. We rushed the town with armor and locked AB, and wasted their inf supply pretty bad. Peer fell quite quickly, since they had nothing besides HQ to support it in Maaseik. After that we pushed on Achel and Eersel, which I MSPed to and about 4 guys managed to cap the town by themselves. They also moved out of Baarle, once they started moving 27ID back towards Eindhoven, and we soft capped that and moved SAS in. Started AO on Maaseik then gave map to Goon7."
