An excerpt from the desk of the Allied Commander-in-Chief: Salute Allied Players!  We are currently on day 32 of Campaign 52.  It has been a tough week. The axis are putting up good defenses in their towns, but the allies are responding with excellent attacks to overcome. We’ve been making gains in the north one tree line at a time, but progress is being made. We’ve held the line in the center and the south with disciplined attacks to keep them honest.

We saw more great battles this week.  Allies were making some steady progress in the North only to be surprised by an Axis breakout in the south that trapped several Allied divisions east and northeast of Laon.  Intelligence reports indicate that Allied forces are planning a bold counterattack in an attempt relieve their trapped divisions.
Meanwhile, Axis forces are in an interesting position.  Will they swing northwest and advance on allied airfields or hold their ground until allied forces are destroyed?  Login and find out.

Operation WILD TURKEY was a success. We had excellent turnout for our RDP bomber runs and continued CAP and CAS for Allied objectives. We have another operation KIDNEY PUNCH slated to start Thursday of this week and continue through the weekend. We’ve started a little early due to popular requests. As of the writing of this report, the Axis have executed another Breakthrough on our lines. It was a nice execution but the Allies are responding and will close the Bulge with decisive clarity and maybe trap a division or two.

Hussars
On the Hussars regular squad night Friday may the 8th they made animpact on the Axis ability to resupply. Driving a beddy to the factories in Essen and setting it up for when all their members were on. They then flew to the beddy with sappers and attacked the factories destroying them and reducing the Axis resupply effort by 12%.

The Hussars showed great initiative and got a important job done in the true tradition of the Allied sprit and they are to be saluted by one and all!
