An excerpt from the desk of the Allied Commander-in-Chief: With June gone and July just barely on us the fight continues.  The axis managed to break out through our lines and cut many of our divisions off.  However we were able to all come together and fight hard where needed and push on the objectives given out as P1s and make the best of what we had.  The axis should have pushed further than we did, but with everyone’s hard efforts and dedication to not letting them do that we have held them from pushing too far.

I would like to wish our American customers a happy Independence Day.  Grills will be fired up, beer will flow and fireworks will fill the night sky.  Have fun and be safe.Joker007 and I have been working very closely with both senior HC staffs on several projects during the last month or so.  One is a complete rewrite of the HC Articles of Conduct.  Goals are to make it easier to understand, provide some flexibility, ensure accountability and provide guidance to the Branch Commanders and above on what you and CRS expects of them.

We are also working with both OCS Training Staffs on a Joint OCS Manual that both sides will use to train their HC officers.  This new manual will focus on accountability and player base relations.  One the manual is completed; it will be uploaded to the wiki site for all to read.

Now, onto the side reports.

FROM THE DESK OF THE ALLIED COMMANDER IN CHIEF:

S! Allied Players

With June gone and July just barely on us the fight continues.

This week has brought out some extraordinary leaders and players.  We have held together and not let the Axis break us.  Keep up the good work.  With our routed brigades back we are now ready to stabilize the lines and start the push back East.  I would like to thank everyone for fighting so hard this last week even without many brigades we didn’t let the Axis have those towns easy.

Let’s all get in game and start making that push east again and make the Axis scramble to cover the devastation we leave behind.  Map OICs in game should be communicating P1 targets and letting you all know what is going on.  If you don’t know ask on Ops and they will let you know as soon as they can.

From the British Country commanders Desk:

"After last week’s recent events components of 12e Division, 2e Division, 5eme Division, and 1st Infantry Division were trapped in the Sedan/Orval area. When the breakout occurred multiple Axis divisions shifted south to reinforce their position in Sedan, and LeChesne while continuing to move
southwards to fully trap, and cut off the Allies at Ste. Menehould, and Suippes.

On the positive end the Allies proved to be a resilient and determined foe for the Axis after the breakout. Throughout the day the Allies held for as long as possible at Suippes, and Ste. Menehould. The defenders were able to fight and uncontested both towns all afternoon, and time and again fought back the Axis onslaught.

All day we attempted to push the Axis back, and cut off multiple Axis divisions, at LeChesne, and Sedan but were unsuccessful due to the lack of support. In a final attempt Klemzig, and myself attempted to re-link 5eme Division at Sechault, and Sommepy. To setup supply for Sechault the strongest brigades in Buzancy (27. Brigade, 6. Brigade) were rotated supply to Grandpre. The attack ultimately failed but we hoped the trapped brigades would get bounced as soon as possible, or supply would reach below 10% sometime soon so we could manually bounce brigades.

Brigades eventually were bounced or moved to training and the line was withdrawn to Guise/LaCapelle, Charleori/Maubeuge, Nivelles/Leuven, and Antwerp in the following days. Allied focus should currently be on Marle/Hirson area to pressure the Axis to pull back to cover 3. Panzer-Division around Laon/Berry, or move to trap 4. Panzer-Division stacked in Hirson."
