An excerpt from the desk of the Allied Commander-in-Chief:  S! Allied troops, it was with a mixture of sadness and excitement that I assumed formal command of AHC from Shad0w64 this week; he will be missed! But as a key member of the 101st Airborne, we expect him to see him parachuting back into battle soon, all guns blazing! Campaign 54 gathers pace - a fierce week of fighting has seen us tear into the Axis front. Some devastating Allied offensives over the early weekend saw us nearly annihilate the northern front as our battle-hardened troops pushed through, claiming the prized towns of Breda and Turnhout.

Sign up for your sides now.  Link can be found here.

As JOKER and I live on opposite sides of the US, we have had some difficulty scheduling a date and time for the event but we should be able to make that announcement this weekend.  What I can tell you is that this will be a “rifleman-only” event in the city of Frankfurt.  Goal will be to hunt down and kill the RAT while protecting your own.  Each side will be also looking for one dedicated JU pilot for each side to provide “UAV-type” battlefield recon.  Should be a good time so watch the forums for a solid event date and time.

FROM THE DESK OF THE ALLIED COMMANDER IN CHIEF:

S! The Allied advance came within a whisker of breaking the line entirely at Ciney, and the successes give us strength and a purpose that Axis cannot match.  We also saw some devastating airborne attacks, led by the 2nd airborne units and Squads, which engaged the infamous KM across the far north. Reports are still sketchy but it seems as if significant were made, and though some of the ground gained has been retaken, the action was described as intense and bullish fighting by the airborne heroes brought the Axis to a desperate defense.  The south, scene of fierce fighting and some Axis advances early in the campaign has now stabilized. Some magnificent defenses at Verdun, Montfaucon and Carignan and excellent assaults on Damvillers and Montmedy have broken Axis resolve. Fantastic job!

All focus within AHC is to repeat this epic performance regularly and so I ask all Allied Forces - be sure to check the game forums regularly for more information on co-coordinated operations - AHC and the superb Allied player base - with our combined strength, we can end this destructive conflict and grind the Axis into the dirt!  I would also like to take this opportunity to make sure all Allied players are up to date with the game and communication systems in place at the moment: -- The Allied Forum is the basic discussion forum, available to all players -- The Allied Secure Forum is the area where confidential battle plans, strategic deployments and Allied-eyes-only discussions take place. Access to this forum is restricted - apply for access via THIS LINK.

We in AHC are also keen to bring in new blood - new recruits and grizzled old veterans are urgently needed to man the battle stations. HC opens another layer of game play and can be extremely rewarding, immersive and addictive. The process requires you to complete a training scheme which incorporates the tools and rules of strategic play and map deployments, but I urge you all, new and old, to jump onboard. Fancy it? The link to apply for AHC is HERE.

With Shad0w64's retirement, here are a summary of the moves with AHC:  Klemzig, the ANZAC warrior moves to Allied Forces Chief of Staff Keysie, stalwart of the BEF moves to her new position of Deputy Chief of Staff Please feel free to contact all HC officers in-game; our role is to serve the player base, so please direct any queries, whether complex or basic, to AHC officers. We will do all we can to keep the communication between AHC and our player base good.  And with that it is time to leave the command post; reports are filtering through of an Axis push. We will stop them, break them and punish them!

Respectfully,

-GreatOne, Allied CinC
