1.31!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow. Screenshots, video’s, feedback? What a great week.

Well, sort of.

This week saw the conclusion of campaign 54, intermission, and the start of our 55th campaign today.  Allies put up a good fight but fell a little short.

Congratulations to both sides for an excellent campaign.  We have some Campaign AAR’s for all of you.  And here you go. Sorry this is so short but I need to get back into the closed beta so I can help get this launched faster.

FROM THE DESK OF THE AXIS COMMANDER IN CHIEF:

As the Allies valiantly hold against our final push Team Axis digs in and pushes the last miles to secure the coast and head to England.  I am proud to have lead you to these final days of campaign 54, the dedication and skills of Team Axis this campaign have been fantastic and I congratulate you all.

The Allied forces are working hard to rotate supply and fight off our advance.  This means is that we will need to play smart, fight harder than the other guy and work together in a true axis teamwork spirit.  Every axis player’s goal should be to control the firebases, check and guard the CP's, and communicate with each other on mission and target chat.  Mission leaders please set waypoints to funnel the team to areas of concern and mark and approve contacts.  I believe we can do this and we can do it well!  We are team axis!

AAR of the Week:

Map OiC AAR 30th of August: 11.00 - 23.00 GMT

Took map from Praevus8. Stacked a lot of brigades to punch through St.Pol and Hesdin. Got 16ID going through a bit risky route in Fruges while 27ID and parts of 17ID to hit St.Pol. Allied moved some to cover St.Pol and Hesdin but kept attacking St.Omer and Lumbres with aim to trap 16Id there. They came close a lot of times and in the end decided to Pull from Fruges as it became obvious we were not going to go through there. Allied eventually recapped Fruges and Lumbres.

Tried St.Pol for 2 times first but Allied defended it well and it was not working out too well. Meanwhile we hit Bethune and Labassee and got these towns. Moved units to form up another spearhead to go through Arras. But I expected that to happen a bit later once we got St.Pol. Klunk started mole ops there that turned out to be quite a success and to my surprise we managed to cap that town before St.Pol. Since 3PD and parts of 2PD ready, moved as much as I could to Arras and started on Saulty and later Doullens. Vitry became operational for LW.

Allied kept hitting St.Omer and a bit later Bergues and Dunkerque and got those town occasionally down to AB(s) and we had tough time getting on offensive even thou we over popped. Axis squads hit Bruay but got a bit bogged down there but took it eventually.

After Bruay, allied had a division in Aubigny and we started on St.Pol last try. This time we got it and managed to trap allied in Aubigny. Things start to fall apart on the other side and we soon capped Doullens after it. Also took Talmas and Watten and Gravelines. Allied retreated in South to cover Amiens. Stacked up brigs to St.Pol to push through Hesdin and in Talmas to push through Amiens. Left those decisions to next Map OIC Mr.2.

Tough fights, Allied played much better than they let us think by the sound of the Barrack threads. We were balanced 11-18 and over popped after that until I logged.

Thank you to Kalma for this AAR.
