An excerpt from the desk of the Axis Commander-in-Chief: Another eventful week with many great battles.  The Allies continue to fight hard against our forces however our KM, LW and Heer forces continue our push west at a steady pace.  Remember that is the work of the soldats who run mobile spawns, defend and attack firebases, cap and guard flags, patrol our coast, and wreak havoc from above that make us the Great Team we are.  Each of these jobs relies on the assistance of other team members to communicate targets, rotate supply, place and clear Attack Objectives and monitor EWS.  So work together as the team, be respectful, and have fun.

The last seven days have been eventful.  No, the battle-lines have not moved much but the battles have been pretty intense.  Each side is trading FB and jockeying for position.  Numbers have been pretty even and that means anything can happen.

1.31 is trudging along pretty well.  It’s great to see some old subscribers coming back to check on 1.31 so be patient.  1.31 will be in open beta “soon”.

Now, onto the reports!

FROM THE DESK OF THE AXIS COMMANDER IN CHIEF:

S! Team Axis

AAR of the Week:

In accordance with Daily Orders Sept 25 2009 KM units began to focus on Gravenpolder, Turnuzen and Kat's.
On Sept 25th multiple raids on Kat's began, enemy resistance was strong and all attacks were unsuccessful. Gravenpolder was taken then lost which had been the case most the week with this city being retaken each day by the allies at around 5AM PST. Attacks on Turnuzen were met with equally stiff allied resistance all allied positions in and around the Zeelands and North Coast held.

In the early hours of Sept 26th The Zee's stalemate was broken by Operation ZiderZee. Km brigades were moved into Hellevoetsluis and Stellendam. Naval units DD and FMB moved into position off the harbor of Brouwershaven. Three JU52's running 5 min apart started to run out of Antwerp, enemy air support over Brouwershaven was heavy. Other KM units maintained the attack on Kat's to split enemy forces in the area. After 7 para drops with the assistance of KM naval units Browershaven fell to the axis after a 2-hour battle, Haamsteede fell to soft cap shortly there after.

During the Brouwshaven battle TT's were moved into position north of Gravenpolder. Approximately 20 min after the capture of Haamsteede Opels were unloading north of Gravenpolder while axis paratroops and KM naval units engaged allied naval forces in the channel South of Gravenpolder. After a 2-hour battle Gravenpolder fell to Axis forces. This running battle in the Zeelands lasted 16 hours and began with the defense of Ouddrop. Without the support of the Ouddrop defenders and their participation in the battle of Brouwershaven continued operations would not have been successful.

Thank you to Elrod for this AAR.
