An excerpt from the desk of the Allied Commander-in-Chief:  S! Allies. What a week for the Allies! This week’s action started with the destruction of the KGW Squad night, A massive effort by all Allied squads and players involved.  The only thing the Axis managed to take was a soft cap!  We showed ourselves what a team we are and that we all still have the fighting spirit, the flame just needed to be ignited.  What did we showed the Axis?  The DOOR!  With some friendly WTFPwn’n!  & a STFU!  Not only did we conquer on the Map,  but IN THE FORUMS TOO!

FROM THE DESK OF THE ALLIED COMMANDER IN CHIEF:

From here we marched forward as “One Team” Dedicated to “One Goal” seeing the lines being pressured from the North right down into the south.   Some early gains were made and we capitalised on them.   Spawn Delay (yes it does exist) has been increasing every day and we are now seeing on average 10SD.

For the remainder of this week we again have moved forward in all TZ’s.  I know I may be a little bias, but.  GO YOU AUSSIES!   The Aussie TZ has really lead the way this week, AHC and Players with up to 13 Towns capped in a shift.  Outstanding.
By the time you all read this report I hope to be moving our forces toward the Axis factories,  placing  a noose tightly around their supply.

Look out for Operations of the coming week as things will shift into an even higher gear as we pursue out enemy all the way east.  If you have any ideas you want to share or would maybe like to try, send them in and we here in AHC will look at them.  One I saw just the other day was an Operation Name “By By Barbie”,  by one of our esteemed allied colleagues over a pm in game.  That one I guess will have to think about, no offence Katonka!

I would also like to take the time here to personally say Thank you on behalf of AHC to a few certain squads out there that have really muscled in with AHC and got the job done.  These are not the only ones that put in the big ones, but really did some brilliant work:
333
23rd
Anzacs
Hussairs
3PzG
ARC
13th Infantry Regiment

Now get out there, fire up ya laffies and pass  the Tin of Whoop-Ass! around.   Look out for Allied CinC, COS  and DCOS and their Country Commanders tag teaming in game!  Come jump out of our planes, join armour columns.   We lead from the front, not from the desk!  We are going Axis CinC hunting!

Let’s get Loud!     Let’s get on with it!   Let’s steal more of their sheep!     Let’s finish it!

This Weeks AAR:

AAR - MapOiC 10-6-09 21:00 - 00:00 (-5GMT)

TO: Allied High Command
FROM: Bulldog, XO - 4eGRD
DATE 10-07-09
RE: AAR - MapOiC 10-6-09 21:00 - 00:00 (-5GMT)

Overview and SITREP
Logged in at approx: 21:00, CDT, and assumed Command from Wolfv, who needed to log. All towns where stable, and there where no "emergencies" to be handled.

Cwo4evil, Bozo312 and Jamm40 provided excellent MapXO's throughout the evening.

The following where the primary attacks:
Lislet
Berlaimont
Laon
Aubenton

The following where the defenses
Tielt
Ronse

When I logged in, Allied forces where in a slight overpop situation. All AHC where engaged in directing attacks or defenses, and provided continuing support. After situating myself to the map, I had an open discussion with available officers on Unified Command Channel.

The nights operational plan:
1. Continue to Attrite Axis 3.PanzerDiv
2. Push 3Pz South and East, to isolate from Axis forces
3. Continue to Push to re-claim Berry-au-Bac, Neufchatel, and possibly Rheims
4. Defend all Positions north and central

The basic battle plan for unit moves where as follows:
1. Use 4eGRD to AO Laon, and then push south to Berry/Neufchatel
2. Use 12e for initial AO's in Lislet
3. Use 2 Dina has reserves, and positioned for possible re-deployment to LaCappelle/Hirson area of operations.

With excellent coverage on moves, timers, and supplies, and with pleanty of AHC officers online to OiC Attack Orders and Defenses, I was able to concentrate on player-base communications, and moving units to support Allied Operations.

A Listing of Allied Operations in brief:
Lislet - this AO was placed, and continued to be Allied P1, until the CP fell to Allied forces at approximately 21:44, when OKW issued a fallback. Allied forces held all depots when "overrun" was initiated by Axis forces, so we immediately moved in to secure CP at 21:52

Dizy - Attack Order issued at 22:00, this would be be captured at approx. 23:00.

Hirson - Attack Order issued at 22:15, and would be captured in just over a half-hour, at 22:45.

During the above operations, OKW tried to re-gain the initiative, and divert Allied over-pop to other areas, to relieve the massive pressure on their 3PzD, as well as the 27id, which was moved down to support 3PzD.
Valenciennes came under two substantial assaults, each repulsed with good coordination, and excellent morale.

Hirson came under heavy attack, throughout the night, and particularly at approx. 23:00, and would be a close pitched battle for only 20 minutes, when the CP was cleared of Axis forces.

At 23:45, we decided to continue the night's plan, and continue to drive 3PzD south and east.

At 00:00, I turned the map over to Jamm40.

Summary:
In the 3 hours of MapOiC, communications between the player-base and AHC, and within the AHC where excellent! Allied moral was very high, and teamwork was excellent.

Jamm40, Cwo4evil, Bozo312 all provided excellent counselling and assistance to me as MapXO's and advisors, as did the previous MapOiC, Wolfv.

Rdaneel, Carbone, Starship, Simpson and many others provided excellent support by stepping up to lead missions, and OiC attacks and defenses.

All told, the Allies had another night of solid gains, with the following 4 CP's captured: Lislet, Dizy, Laon, and Sissone. Maybe more importantly, we where able to maintain the initiative all night!

Moral was very high with the player-base, as well as in AHC (we sustained a 20+ second spawn delay throughout the night), and Allied forces pushed the 3PzD back toward the south and east, heavily attrited.

Mention in Dispatches

The Following Officers are commended for excellent leadership in the field:

Jamm40, Bozo312, Cwo4evil, Rdaneel, Carbone, Wolfv, Starship, and Simpson
These officers formed the onsite leadership for the Attacks and Defenses, and never let up.

The following players are commended for outstanding leadership, communications, and teamwork:

Whacko, Shad0w64, and Ltzing

The following squads are commended for excellent battlefield participation:

101st, 4 Wing, RatPack, 13th Inf Reg, 23rd, and 3rd Panzer Group

Conclusion
I am happy to report, that to my knowledge, fun was had by all players, as well as myself.

Again, it was a pleasure to lead tonight's operations!

!Salute!
Andy "Bulldog" Harsh
General de Brigade
Executive Officer, 4eGRD

As not all Allied Players know, but AHC MAP OIC's leave their AAR’s for the rest of us so we can see what has transpired that day and what is coming the next.   So. Yes there is a plan!  It may not always work, but you can be assured AHC is a tight knit team and is working well together.

Promotions / Orbat Moves this week:

Work continues on the AHC orbat.  A full orbat will be posted soon so you can all see where the changes are and Who’s Who in the Zoo!

ALLIED PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Bigass – This week this monumental trucker has been grinding the gears time after time in a laffy.  Bigs was responsible for setting up close to 6 soft caps in a row that I personally witnessed.  His skills and knowledge of the game and knowing not to draw too much away from the P1 led the allied team on a steak of success of soft caps which moved our lines forward.   Keep on Truck’n Sir!

ALLIED OFFICER OF THE WEEK:
BULLDOG, Executive Officer of 4e Groupe Division
For his exceptional leadership in operations over the past week.  Many times this officer has stepped up to the plate and assisted with both AHC and Squads.  The communication and organisational skill Bulldog possesses has directly been reflected on the current status of the map.

Regards
Klemzig  - Allied Chief of Staff
