An excerpt from the desk of the Allied Commander-in-Chief: This week sees the combined allied team crashing head on into the axis divisions. Our tempo went up and we once again worked as a team. As I am writing this report while in game we just took ramagen, now we are certainly banging on the door of all the factory areas. This week’s advance has been swift and your efforts have not gone unnoticed. The speed of which the Allied PB has reacted to new P1’s was simply unbelievable. I thank you all. We now own the strategic advantage; let’s get on and clear up this map! Time for an Allied Party!
Map swings are always eventful for both sides. It is a hallmark of WWIIOL:BE that one side must lose whenever the other team is winning. We have seen the Axis sweep the Allies back from the Axis factories, surround the Allied southern factories, and then be swept back to their own factory lines. Antwerp and Brussels have both changed hands twice this map. This has happened a few times previously, but we are facing the possibility of a new record IF the Axis can recapture Antwerp and Brussels again…and then perhaps lose them again. This is a good display of how fast the Tier 4 and beyond level equipment gives any side with an advantage a good chance to reverse from defense to attack.
This map may seem like it has lasted a while, but the record is a 102 day map and we are far from that. Continue to log-in and play hard, realizing that your team’s morale will lift and sink in line with the changing fortunes of war. Read the reports below and go look at your map…you’ll see they are a touch out of date already. Read next week’s reports to find out why. JOKER007 FROM THE DESK OF THE ALLIED COMMANDER IN CHIEF: S! We now own the strategic advantage; let’s get on and clear up this map! Time for an Allied Party! AAR of the Week: 20 October 2009 US TZ Squad Op - SDWELLS I am not sure what the heck we did. I know I was in so many towns in 3 hours I lost track. I capped 3 bunkers and 2 spawnables, and killed more Germans than average. That is a good thing isn't it? Anyway, I think we took 5 towns in 3 hours. The Axis are in full retreat, and who knows what is happening out there. S!
Simple, but well put Sdwells! That correctly annotates the allied ops channel of late! Promotions and New Officers:
