S! to All from Klemzig, Allied Forces CinC
Welcome to Campaign #56.
I would like to introduce myself.
Some of you already know me, but here is some more of what I am about and what it shall mean for me, to serve you as Allied Forces CinC.
I began life in WWIIonline back in Jan 2002 when I first subscribed to the game.
Before this I messed around in the beta on a friends account.
In my first few months as a player I drifted around on both sides until settling with some mates from work on the Axis side. Here we formed a small squad where we used to run into towns and "bump" tables. This for those that have not been around long enough was the way we used to cap town. There were no AO's as such but all front line towns were fair game. So with fueled up tank and some inf on board it certainly made for some crazy times. Later on we Joined up with an Axis squad called 16ID Dixie Division where I made some good friends. A few years later I took a break from the game as I traveled around for work but then once again returned and Joined up with 3PzG Squad. I spent my days running around with an 88 hooked on the back of my second account.
Late last year I came over to the Allied side for a look during intermission and to fly some planes. I must say I was impressed.!
I got to know some of you during this time and met some old WWII buddies so I decided to stick around.
I resigned from 3PzG squad and joined up with the ANZACS and found myself joining AHC soon after. Well from there I grew through the ranks, used my experience as a player and RL experiences and Now I find myself as CinC.
What do I feel I will bring to the table as CinC you may ask?
I would hope I can keep on working with the Player Base and continue to build the bond between the Players and the AHC. We have come a long way over the last few months.
AHC was certainly not perfect and had some room for improvement. Along with some ex AHC, current ones and some of you players out there I began to work closely with GreatOne and others on rebuilding the AHC and what it meant to be in AHC. I intend to continue this trend.
I guess I believe in certain values in RL and in game, some of them are respect, integrity, courage and Loyalty.
I intend to fit these values into my role as CinC where ever I can.
I also look forward to working not just with you, but having my entire AHC staff work closer than ever with the Players. Together as "Team Allied" we will prevail over anything the Axis will throw at us. Together we will win.
I also intend to have maximum player visibility of not just me but my CinC staff as well, that you can count on. Its time for some Aussie CinC time once again in WWIIonline!
I am looking forward to having the chance of being CinC during the 1.31 release, this will be a great time for all. There are some great changes coming into the game and the experience will be awesome.
But over all I have the desire now! The desire to win, the desire to not let up on our Axis opponents.
Some personal bits about me.
I am 39 years old Guy living in the Blue Mountains, New South Wales, Australia.
I spent 13 years in the military, joining at the age of 16 & 1/2.
For the past ten years I have been working with defence on things such as live simulators and IT infrastructure and Data management.
I am the happy father of 6 children and currently on my second wife. :)
You will all see me in game, either running that truck, driving the tank, screaming into the odd tree in my spitfire or jumping out of your plane. Come jump on TS and have a chat whenever you wish.
