An excerpt from the desk of the Axis Commander-in-Chief: Congratulations to GreatOne for winning #55. Well done and thank you to Katonka for her excellent leadership. She did a masterful job of leading the Axis though 2 campaigns (and a hockey team), giving us a sure and steady march west to victory and near victory! HAIL KATONKA! And a “HUGE SUPER GOOD JOB” to all the players in 55 for a very memorable campaign!
Welcome to campaign 56! Think about it. 56 recorded campaigns and still rolling along. Some bet that we wouldn't make it past 30 but here we are. Here you are. We don't tell you often enough how much we appreciate all of you support over the years. During sunny and cloudy days you have stuck with us and we appreicate it more than you know. Motormouth introduced the new command staff earlier this week but I want to add that I've gotten to know a lot of them and watched them rise to the positions they in now and they will serve the community well. The HC serves the community as ambassadors to CRS. Additionally, and more importantly, they are tasked with providing our customers an enjoyable gaming experience. They take their lumps; From CRS and from you but they always do the very best they can to meet both requirements.
Trust me. They have the best interests of the community at heart. Now, onto the side reports! FROM THE DESK OF THE AXIS COMMANDER IN CHIEF: This Communiqué concludes campaign 55 and start of campaign 56. Congratulations to GreatOne for winning #55. Everyone on both sides kept at it despite what looked like game over for the Axis, then Allies, then Axis (fought on hard till the end)! I am sure many expected Ereck to be the next CinC. Soon I will be completely occupied with real life stuff, and my time for HC duties will be nearly none, so it was finish now or resign (it was bad enough when I went to Japan, only to go back 3 weeks later to attend my mother0in-laws sudden death). I profusely thank Ereck for allowing me to move ahead of him. S! I joined the HC sometime late in 2006 to help in making better RDP bombing side of game, basically more FUN. Then I never had thoughts of being the CinC. Well, it happened. And I thank everyone who helped along the way. I plan to continue what I started, bring FUN to the game and smiles from the player base. Now it’s across the board (but still do what I can for the bomber boys, a difficult challenge due to particulars of this game). Now as the Axis CinC I will work to make this game more fascinating and enjoyable, but especially for the Axis side! The chance to speak with people from all over the world on a daily basis is both amazing and enjoyable, and unites us as a team. (Before I go, to my old, old squad mates on the Allied side. You are welcome to join me! :D ) Campaign 56 stated with a rush. Team Axis was on the ball, they knew the plan, and moved swiftly on the moment the servers came up. Our opening moves caught the Allies looking the other way, capturing key center towns in the first hours the campaign, something Axis rarely does! Allies tried some flanking moves, but Axis controlled the battlefield and eventually they relented and we cleaned up. Although it has stabilized, Allies have done some powerful counters that make it challenging for the Axis, but the fun level is high and players are eager to get in game. TEAM Axis, SUPER job! This is one to remember! With Campaign 55 closing, we need to pass out awards for efforts above the call of duty. Special award: Golden Eagle Order With swords and Diamonds
Our highest award goes to Katonka for her years of dedication and duty to Team Axis. She is one in a million! I speak for all when I say CONGRATULAIONS! Come back soon! ;^) And now our the most prestigious award: While it is tempting to see aj1874 do self-inflicted teeth marks on his posterior, the fact remains we have 2 clear winners for MVP and MVO. I will let one of the best Axis CinC’s speak their accomplishments: Fimabre: Most Valuable Officer of the campaign KALMA By far the guy that most moves, good operations, and efforts did over all the campaign, without undermining other officers work (Dutch metalwrken wrken fur nu medalin! Pleaz waiten!) Most Valuable Player of the Campaign
GAGAMEL He has led with passion. He put a lot of efforts on coordinating squads, he has been giving a lot and always ready to put more, try again and fighting to the last end.” AXIS OFFICER OF THE WEEK: ImBrutus: For doing her propaganda crops duty to the hilt! She puts as much effort fighting for Axis moral as she does smacking down the allies! The keyboard is mightier then the FlaK 36 88mm cannon!
AXIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Wayne81: Let the unsung duty be sung! It was reported in one day alone he took down 22 Allied FB’s! It’s a dirty job, but some has to do it so Team Axis can win! Congratulations!
