Hello Everyone! The 7 year anniversary of WWII Online - Battleground Europe is here!! It is amazing how many people I have met over the years and still impresses me the camaraderie and stamina that many have to stay active with this gaming hobby. I say it is a hobby because unlike many other games the involvement of the community is what makes this game work.
With all of the different programs everyone can be a part of there still is always room for more. When players such as you that read these reports, the newsletter, and follow the game actively we still get emails asking to become more involved with many other ideas. The dynamic involvement continues with thousands and thousands of subscriptions, and those that want to make this there hobby really put in their all and we thank you! One thing that I learned in university marketing classes is that the number one seller of any idea is word of mouth by trusted friends and family. Keeping this game alive is very important to many of us and to tell your friends about it, show them around, or point them in the direction of how to get over the learning curve will get them hooked, just like you and I. With the free trials there really isn't a better way to show someone that you are not wasting your time in talking about it!
Hopefully many of you will enjoy these weeks events. Motormouth did an incredible job with preparing the format and implementing the ideas and Jammyman has spent many hours working out the details for the realism events.
It has been an honor for both Topd and I to serve all of you and will continue to do so for a very long time!
Have a great week and Have Fun!

Allied Report:
Hello Team Allies,
This past week has been one of major excitements and also of major disappointments. As a team we made huge advancements and nothing but fun and excitement for everyone. Sure we may have endured some setbacks but as a Team we shall regroup and continue our drive against the Axis. How we come together and react as Team Allies in a positive "LET'S HAVE FUN" manner even after such difficult times will help us in the next week to send the message to the Axis that they cannot stop us!!!!
I want to remind everyone of another Team that got together with a positive attitude 64 years ago. The attitude that no matter what they would not give up and that they would achieve their objectives. It was the Team of Allies on June 6, 1944 who together and undivided who crossed the English Channel and hit the beaches of Normandy on what is now known as D-Day. I stand and salute every member of that Team of Allies for their sacrifices and for what they achieved on that day! < SALUTE >
Battle plans for the Normandy Invasion, the most famous D-Day.
Let's use the spirit of that Team of Allies to drive our Team towards our objectives as Allies. We will push forward with trust in each other, we will attack every objective with dedication to our Team, and we will not stop until we have met our objectives at the east end of this map just as the Allies did on that day.
I look forward to rushing the Axis towns on attack, to denying them their goals, and to being there alongside you in game whenever and wherever I can in support of Team Allies. Our players on the side of our Team are the BEST in the game and I trust in all of you to be there in celebrations when our objectives are met and victory is ours!!!!
This map is far from over so let's all get together and do what we all enjoy.....HAVE FUN!!!!
