An excerpt from the desk of the Axis Commander-in-Chief: "Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success."-Henry Ford. Sums up all that it means to play any side, working together for success. We had that in the beginning, but around day 5, short of officers, communications, and teamwork at a critical time, we lost a lot of ground. Now the teamwork and confidence is back, and we doing great! Well, another week of great battles are in the history book. Battle-lines have stabilized around the Meuse river valley and both sides are jockeying for a positional advantage. Your High Command officers are active and doing a good job communicating with the players at all levels and they are actively seeking more dedicated players to fill their ranks. If you are interested in helping chart your sides course to victory contact any HC officer and they will guide you through the enrollment process. 1.31 closed beta is still rumbling along and our dedicated team of testers have been doing a great job reporting, identifying and squashing “bugs”. We are as impatient as you are to get this out the door so you can enjoy our latest release. Now, onto the side reports. FROM THE DESK OF THE AXIS COMMANDER IN CHIEF: Coming together is a beginning Sums up all that it means to play any side, working together for success. We had that in the beginning, but around day 5, short of officers, communications, and teamwork at a critical time, we lost a lot of ground. Now the teamwork and confidence is back, and we doing great! The Axis is still lacking officers, especially in our Pacific time zone, and our crack team of trainers will teach you what it takes to be a leader. It is be great opportunity to learn what it means to be a leader, and not just in the game! Our door is open any time: http://www.axishq.wwiionline.com/axisplaynow/axis_ocs_application.php But even if you are not in the HC, you are still part of Team Axis. Every day players follow the requests of what the officers need to have done, and their faithful following make all the difference between a wasted effort and booting the enemy from one town after another. And what do I do, you ask with suspicious looks, do I just drive my Panzer barking orders? Nope. Lots of time I drive sappers to an FB, fly paras to a target, or like Wednesday, spawn a HT to tow 4x 88mm’s and 2x Bofors to the hills over Boullion, the stay and resupply them. (then try and run over pesky EI SMG that came to bother us!) Enjoy the rest of the report! I received some interesting stories of Paras in action! S! AAR of the Week:
