An excerpt from the desk of the Allied Commander-in-Chief: To the loyal allies of this campaign thank you for your dedication the the allied cause, your bravery against high odds is nothing short of magnificent. You held the line and made the allies proud that the axis paid dearly for every inch. Cinc has a new plan for the next campaign and I must say it’s a killer plan (killer for the axis). We are going to give it to them good! So stay tuned the next one is going to be a corker!

AAR of the Week:

12/09/2009
Report from Shane21

took Map OIC at 8.50pm (gmt) and being new to the OIC role asked ideas. The axis were attacking St. Ricquier, and were hitting it hard. At this time, ews was at Fixecourt. I decided to attack Amiens with 27e in order to take some heat of St. Ricquier and Fixecourt. At this time, St. Ricquier finally fell. In order to attack Amiens, and create a threat to the axis, I removed the AO from Watten and placed it on Amiens. This diverted some of the axis away from the towns they were attacking. At about 10pm, Hesdin came under attack, thanks to OIC Spudnik, we held it. He performed very well, keeping the enemy fbs down. At the same time, we needed an AO on Watten again to keep the pressure up. So I removed it from Calais (this was a mistake - I belief), and placed it on Watten. I moved 3rd Commandos in to support the attack on Watten. After the OIC left, as he had other commitments, St Omer came under heavy attack. I reassigned assigned Spudnik as OIC for the defence of St. Omer. Moving in brigades to support weakened brigades. At this point a HAAC was requested on St Omer, which I ordered and was supported by another AHC. However, about 11.20 I became aware that St Omer was being camped and supply was being used up.Having had a discussion with AHC on, I decided to withdraw from St. Omer, however, HAAC was up. So I had to move brigades out individually. I moved all Brigades out, except 8e, which I couldn't move for 25 mins. At this time, I was in communications with players on the ground. Sirkitoh and 1st Spanish Cavalry held the depot under heavy attack, from ets and ei, for over 30 minutes.
I finally moved 8e out and thanked the players for all their help. At around 12, I asked to be relieved as map OIC. During the above, P1 changed several times.

Harrisc1 took over from me!

Thanks for the opportunity!
