Greetings, fellow community members!
Campaign #59 begins today and with it comes the news that the long awaited 1.31 Open Beta will begin on February 22nd. The hope of everyone, staff and customers, is that this update will breathe new life into our game and our community. This past week I've allowed myself to spend some time in game, something I don't get to do as often as I'd like. I had a great time and I was reminded that the community that has been a big part of my life for almost a decade is unlike any other. Enthusiasm, passion, dedication, patience, loyalty and insanity abound. This is a personal thanks from me to all of you: ground pounders, flyboys, water rats, grunts, officers, noobs and vets. Ya'll keep making this game fun, and I always spend more time hunting EI with a smile on my face than with any other game.

FROM THE DESK OF THE ALLIED COMMANDER IN CHIEF:

Communication and teamwork continues to greatly improve as well as officer morale. Latest statistics show that we have new MOIC's which are joining the established ones. Communications between the AHC and Player-Base continues to improve, and AHC/squad relationships are being re-established, and improved. Both Countries have seen some new additions and changes to their senior leadership. Unfortunately CF739 had to drop back to British Country CoS due to RL issues, and was replaced by the very capable Bondpaul. French Country has Bulldog as their new CO, and Salador as his CoS. This combination of officers in British and French Country command will prove to be an outstanding team to promote AHC/player base relations.

AAR of the Week:

February 6th 2010

During our low-pop TZ, the Axis had managed to route 2 naval brigades, and punch a massive hole in our lines. The situation was dire. The Axis had most of Lille and was setting up for Seclin and Vitry simultaneously. We had very few allied players online and were greatly outnumbered.

Gambolo took control of the map and with the help of Messeruk, Gassault, and myself we started trying to salvage what we could. Gambolo began a massive shifting of units to try and cover the hole. Lille fell, then Seclin, and Vitry. Arras was empty and the Axis had a wide-open path to Amiens. Gambolo requested a Naval brigade to Arras and I was able to move the 19th Destroyer Flotilla HQ into Arras just as the Axis placed that AO. Our troops held the North CP against constant assault while Gambolo feverishly worked to move units into Arras. The Axis had captured most almost all of the South side of the town and captured the docks just as we got a HQ into Arras. We continued to hold the NAB and the NCPs against constant assault and overwhelming numbers. Bit1sc held the NCP, Impala76 held the NAB, This allowed Gambolo to move an Armored brigade in, followed by and Infantry Brigade. This stopped the Axis advance dead in their tracks. Realizing that the Allies were determined to hold them at Arras against all odds, the Axis pulled to AO to look for an easier target.

This action allowed us to readjust our lines and prevent certain disaster, as the Axis would have completely cut out lines in half.

Respectfully,
Contre-Amril Owensm
Co Force de l'Atlantique
