FROM THE DESK OF THE ALLIED COMMANDER IN CHIEF:

Allied forces are fully engaged on the front lines with enemy forces. We have been pushed back once again, but lines are beginning to strengthen. Fighting along the Sambre River has been very intense. Communications between the AHC and Player-Base continues to improve, and AHC/squad relationships are continually being re-established, and improved.

Communication is the key to success! Keep those FB's Allied, mark targets, play hard, and above all, have fun!

Overview of Operations
Logged in at approx 19:30, and took MOIC from Gen. Bigrow. Defenses where strong, but Allied AOs had stalled, mostly due to under-pop situation. Orchies was under severe attack, and AO's placed on Tournai.

I immediately set out to shift the momentum away from defenses, and counter-attack to build momentum, and espirit de corps.

With Orchies and La Fere under severe pressure, the plan was put into effect to counter at Bouchain, and change the momentum of the evening. We held Orchies, as well as La Fere (particularly severe, and somewhat desparate defense at times), while we setup on Bouchain.

We attacked Bouchain with superior air-power, and a good setup of ATG's and ZOCs, and invested the town. The AO would take considerable time, but we were able to get it done even with La Fere and Caudry in severe states. Bouchain was capped at 21:43, by Crash522, to end this Allied P1.

La Fere turned out to be a significant battle, and very hard fought. The Allies where driven back from the eastern side of the river almost twice, but a well-timed HAAC saved it the first time, and the capture of Bouchain (which freed allied players for the defense) saved it the second time.
Orchies - was held from major attack, and liberated with excellent teamwork from AHC and playerbase.
Caudry - This defense was again fought back from near complete over-run, but a HAAC saved the town. Caudry would still be under sporadic fighting when I logged for the night.

Logged at Approx 23:30, and turned map over to Mcafeed.

Mention in Dispatches
23rd Armor - A key assett in the successfull Bouchain AO. Excellent team-work, and great cooperation with AHC priority attacks.

13th Infantry - Another key asset, in blowing FB's and defending many towns. The ground component in the diversion plane to gain momentum in Solesmes, by moling Tournai.

101st AB - Instrumental their efforts in the "Tournai Diversion" to get momentum on Solesmes.

Cwo4evil and Larrius - excellent MXO's, and never failed to step-up and OiC a defense or attack. Continuous good cheer in the face of overwhelming odds, especially in La Fere, where the battle was very fierce.

Kattana - as always, and excellent Air OIC, and motivator of Allied Air Forces. Where-ever the Allied P1 was tonight, there where Allied planes in the sky. Well done.

This week, the Allied Officer of the week has been awarded to two outstanding officers:
Trevor8: Ever since the Breakout at Leuven/Brussels, Trevor8 has been working non-stop to help the allies to victory, He helped prevent break out of  the Axis past getting past the Antwerp area and is doing an awesome job, performing his role as an AHC Officer.
Larrius :Is a stalwart Defender and a great motivator of players in his time-zone. A great officer who constantly contributes to the Allied cause.


ALLIED PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
MS3: An Allied top performer, with an outstanding dedication and effort to FB Busting, and ensuring the Axis Armies are kept at bay.
