IMPORTANT UPDATE!! Due to technical issues with the event server, the Welcome Back Soldier event has been moved to the Campaign server. Please log in and join the regular campaign play with our compliments. From July 30th to August 2nd, we'll be activating hundreds of accounts for access to the event.

 

We hope you can connect with old friends and hunt down old enemies as the battle for Western Europe rages day and night.

No italian army which kinda makes this a sad event. Maybe better luck doing a event in the western front then in italy. Since you only have British, French, and the Germans.

Lost contact with my squad, 94th Armored Brigade, some time ago. But I've always been a diehard Allied player when I did play. I'll try to make it this Friday, provided my rig can run and still play the game.

This particular Italian campaign involved only British (&CW), French, and Germans.
So there are no Italians to not include...Just thought I'd point that out :)

opportunity missed im afraid. a lot wont use the WBS for a training server event, you need to meet up with your old mates to get those juices flowing & that needs the live server.

Given up trying to download the patch. Tried at 21:00GMT last night and it was very slow so I left it until this morning. Re-started about 09:30 6 hours later it is only done 34%. Last version 1.30.255 patch size 533Mb.

I'm astonished to not have read more feedback on the new capture system.It's absolutely awesome since battles turn out in attrition fights instead of ninja capping operations.Fights are much more violent too.Radio capping system now sounds ridiculous
