Allied Status
Well Another BIG weekend gone by, and another wave of Allied gains... We certainly are in high spirits
This week has seen some intense fighting on all fronts, but specifically in the central areas of operation.

Capturing Bertrix has been a boost for the allied

The air and land battles have been truly epic, and will continue so, as the allies continue their march east.

AAR of the Week:

TO: Allied Central Command
FROM: Canukplf
DATE: Aug 12th, 2010, Camp 63

Logged on last night. Drive to Long from Font, attack over and I get killed after a 22 min drive by a stug G. Oh great, this night will suck.

The 23rd lads are logging on and an attack order for LEO goes out, not overly thrilled at it. Then we put an op together and we roll MOL.

Was a lighting quick strike that saw the town go down quick as the axis still focused on LEO.

We then rolled to Lommel (HQ only) and I had a field day sitting out side town smacking the axis. I'm in my same Sherman and take 3 full reloads on the attack. Was pretty banged up after I withdrew and suffered my Commander dead and the gear box only giving me gear 2.

After I took a MIA with no CRIT hits I ended with the following for both Mol and Lommel attack

EI - 20
pak38 - 17
pak40 - 1
88 - 2
Pz's - 5
232 - 4
AAA - 0

The next order was for HASS. Well, its an interesting town. I grab a Sherman from DIEST FB and head to the S CP area as we have 1 and need the other. Kill a few pak38's S side and some ei and we secure the S CP's, I then head N towards town on the E side moving slowly. Knocked out a few more enemy before a pak40 kills my gunner and I him

Got the following on first run

EI - 3
pak38 - 4
pak40 - 1
88 - 0
Pz's - 2
232 - 0
AAA - 0

On my last mission of the night I grabbed another Sherman, headed back to S CP's as there was a stug G reported outta town and E of the S CP's. I flanked way round and thanks to a dac spotting, killed the stug g. I then rolled slowly in from the SE side of HASS watching for ei and pak's. Ended up in a great position and finally had to call it quites when a sapper got my gear box (No Crit) and was outta ammo so had to take a MIA.

Got the following on my last run.

EI - 2
pak38 - 0
pak40 - 8
88 - 2
Pz's - 8
232 - 1
AAA - 6

So, in 3 missions and for the loss of 1 SHERMAN.

EI - 25
pak38 - 21
pak40 - 10
88 - 4
Pz's - 15
232 - 5
AAA - 6
