Is there any chance of adding some / commands for MLs? Having a "/approve" command to approve any current reports would save alot of time.

It is something that comes up from time to time. We've chosen in the past to keep it as a way to have the ML have some responsibility to his mission and directing it through the map tools. On the other hand, without more to do in that direction with waypoints and other commands it often feels like an annoyance when instead it is supposed to make the commander feel like he is gathering and disseminating intel to the men he is leading. This type of game play is more suited to leading and commanding and can be less appealing to those who like to lead from the front. We'll talk through it again as we get 1.29 into a more stable state. While we want to make leading a mission appeal to players who want to lead and prepare for OIC and eventually command it also needs to appeal to the players who do the job because it needs to be done.

Ok this has been asked before, but could a solution similar to that of the gunner on the Axis halftrack be used where he ducks down?

The undeployed state is as reasonably low as they can go and with right-click deploy and undeploy it happens pretty fast. Perhaps we can look at a heads down animation for prone characters but I'm not sure how well having 4 trooper states would work out.

I like that mission leaders can make orders for people on their mission. However, not everyone takes the same mission. Is there a way we can get OIC orders. Who ever is in that brigade will be able to read their Mission leaders orders and the OIC orders?

Yes. This is sorely needed. We have a groups plan that we are fleshing out that gives more structure and commands to both the OIC and the ML and sets up that intra-brigade hierarchy. We definitely need this.
