This week, we started moving to a new billing processor. We are changing our billing service provider to both improve our efficiency, reliability and security. Yesterday, March 17, we began by verifying the ability to accounts to work with the new system.
Thus, many of you might see an authorization hold for US$1.00, on your credit cards. It might appear as coming from "PLAYNET.COM", "PLAYNET, INC." or, in some cases, as only "BEDFORD TXUS." We are working with our new partner to make those consistent. These are just authorization holds and will not settle. They indicate that the transition to our new billing service provider will be seamless for you. Your account will bill on its normal Next Billing Date. Some account authorizations will fail and those players will need to update their billing information and CVV code. Reasons for these failures are most often security concerns of your card provider and incorrect address information. We ask that you update your billing information if your billing fails (or do it early to avoid an interruption in access to the game, you won't be charged until your Next Billing Date). Unfortunately, we are losing two forms of payment, Bibit Offline payments (also known as "RBS Worldpayment" and the Laser card. The good thing is that many of the payment methods accepted by Bibit are available through our other offline payment vendors (and the Laser card is accepted by PayByCash). Follow the links below and select your country to see the options available to you: But you can still purchase game access with Bibit offline for the next few days! In addition to our normally accepted credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, and their related debit cards, American Express, and Discover), we can now accept the JCB card. To update your billing information, please visit the Subscription section of your account pages and choose the option to Update Your Payment Plan. If you encounter any problems, please visit support.playnet.com and submit a support request. Thank you and good hunting! |
