When I first started playing I didn't know much about this game at all. I joined the attack on some small town in the Belgium sector. Thrilled with some signs of action, I walked for ages because the Mobile Spawn was so far off the target. When I finally heard shots I quickly went prone and observed the spot where the shots came from.  And there I saw him in his fox hole with an MG firing at one of my buddies.

Quick and smooth I ran like a Rambo towards the target hoping to kill it with my astounding batlle skills. Of course I stayed out of it's line of sight. When I was finally close enough, I grabbed my rifle and took aim and fired right at his head. Hoping to hear his death scream, I heard nothing.  When I looked again he was still alive and still shooting at my buddies. Still amazed, I shot him again, and again but he kept on shooting. When I was fed up with shooting I ran towards him and threw my grenade into his black hole and quickly ran back and went prone in time to see him die when my nade exploded.  Then he was gone. As proud as I was, I stood up and observed the spot and just at that moment I heard a loud bang behind me and I died.  I listed myself as KIA and got 1 points for killing what now I know was an AI pit.
