It is with a deep sense of "Aww man!" that I announce the retirement of long time Assistant Game Manager Donavon "TOPD" Dilling. Not only was TOPD one of the best AGMs we were honored to have on board, he has become a friend to many of the staff. The former marine served the Battleground Europe community with dignity and integrity, his loyalty to the game and the company unshakable. We'll miss you, buddy. Keep in touch! NEW POSITION CREATEDLate last year we launched a new squad specifically targeted towards new players, The Screaming Weasels. It has become apparent that with around 80-100 new players signing up every day, the squad is in need of dedicated leadership and organization. We are thrilled that Matt "XOOM" Callahan, with the assistance of Jimmy "ARRADIN" Stigsjoo, has agreed to tackle the task in addition to his already extensive list of duties. XOOM takes on the new title of "Assistant to the Community Manager", a role whose tasks include supervising the AGM team, spearheading the Weasel project and overhauling the Training program to increase the impact of these programs. NEW AGM JOINS TEAMWith TOPD retiring and XOOM taking on new roles, we have asked Terry "OHM" Fazekas to join the AGM team alongside Dennis "SMOKEEYE" Moe. OHM's extensive High Command experience, level-headed and approachable manner and a strong drive to contribute to the BE community are welcome additions to our team. Welcome aboard! "All I can say is wow! NEW LEAD TRAINERWe also say "Thanks!" to Chris "FEARNY" Fearn, who has helmed the Training program for several years. FEARNY has taken on a new job and a new family and finds his time in game has become limited, much to his chagrin. He has retired as Lead Trainer but remains a part of our community and a great trainer. S! "Hey Guys. First things first, I want to thank Xoom, and CRS for giving me the opportunity to lead the training corps; I will not let you guys down. Second, I want to introduce myself for those who don’t know me. The name is always a kicker, so I will lay it out…”Anime Rules” or Animerlz. You can call me Anime, Ani, or even by my real name, Scott. I have been a player of WWII Online since 2006, with a few years off in the middle. I have been in Axis High Command Twice now, once as high as Kriegsmarine Nord CO, and the second time as 8 Zerstorerflotille CO, which I just resigned from to take this position. I am very easy to get along with, and I am always willing to help in any way I can. If you ever have any questions, concerns, or just wanna talk, you can PM me in the forums, in game, or if you see me on Teamspeak, just drop in. Thank you again, and S! As always, we are in need of reliable volunteers to help us fill the rosters of all our programs. If you would like to lend a hand on the forums, game moderating, training or running ops with the Weasels, please send an email to
