The morning of May 12th, 1940 dawns cool and clear. The sun glistens over the verdant fields that border the Meuse. Suddenly the serenity of the morning is violently and irreversibly shattered by the sound of thunder...WAR!

French and British combined forces stationed in the small French town of Sedan scramble into their boots, scoop up arms and ready to face the enemy. Trucks belch to life and begin to maneuver anti-tank and anti-air guns into position.

The enemy has taken to the field, leaving their encampment in Carignan to begin their advance across Western Europe.

Row upon row of German tanks churn up the mud along the river causing no few of their infantry support to curse as they become mired in the deep muck. But they are soldaten of the Reich, and they will push forward.
Soon the air will be ablaze with bullets and bombs as the pilots of these two great armies vie to own the sky and reduce enemy factories to smoking rubble.
